With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the trade industry, Brad Andersen knows that the most expensive mistakes on a job site rarely start with a pipe or a wrench—they start with a breakdown in leadership.
Starting his career in a family business in the mechanical insulation sector, Brad has navigated every level of the trades. But his path wasn't a straight line to the top. He has lived through the "pain points" of the industry: the friction of a disorganized crew, the burnout caused by poor communication, and the heavy toll that ineffective management takes on both the bottom line and the people doing the work.
When Brad took ownership of Plumbing Inc. three years ago, he faced these challenges head-on. He inherited a "rag-tag" operation and, through trial and error, transformed it into a structured organization capable of handling complex, high-stakes commercial projects. This transition wasn't just about winning bigger bids; it was about building the levels of leadership and accountability required to sustain growth without losing his mind—or his team.
Having felt the firsthand frustrations of both positive and negative management styles, Brad is on a mission to save other trade leaders from the same pitfalls. After years of in-person coaching, he developed his online leadership programs to share the hard-won systems he used to scale his own company. Today, he helps the next generation of trade workers bridge the gap between technical skill and executive strategy, ensuring they have the confidence and structure to build lasting, respected careers.
